  AMR-1 (N° 5)
AMR-1 (N° 5) is the last works Aston Martin which challenged for the World Sportscar Championship in 1989. Principally driven by David Leslie it achieved 4th at Brands Hatch and 7th overall in the championship. Engine originally developed by Richard Williams (670 bhp)and aerodynamics by Ray Mallock.
 
 

Paul Whight
Began racing in the early 1990s with Aston Martin DB4 and DB4GT before graduating to racing Can-Am cars in the International Supersports Cup in various cars including McLaren M8D, Lola T222 and March 717. Bought AMR-1 in 2001 and raced it at the end of that year. Also raced a Lotus Elise in British GT Championship finishing 4th overall in 2003 and will race a Saleen with David Leslie in LMES in 2004.
